Grouped Bar

Best for: comparing the size of multiple groups of data as groupings of smaller bars.

Configuration

Palette: uses the colors from the selected palette to make up the bar colors.

Group by (Required): The field that will make up the groups of bars.

Stack by (Required): The field that will make up the individual bars.

Limit (Required): Determines how many bar groupings will be displayed.

Threshold: if a value is present, a horizontal line will be drawn across the chart at this value.

Clickable: if selected, allows users to click to open a list of the data making up the bars.

Click through: if Clickable is selected, this optional field allows you to set the url suffix that the click should lead to. Defaults to the out-of-the-box list page if left empty.

Rotate labels: if selected, rotates the group labels.

Display grid: if selected, displays a grid behind the bars to give a better approximation of values.

Display axis line: if selected, displays the Y axis line.

Display legend: if selected, displays the legened for the bar colors.

Ignore filters: if selected and if there are filters defined for the dashboard, this chart will ignore the filters.

Display label: if set, this value will be what is displayed as the chart title. If empty, the name of the chart will be used as the chart title. Set this value to none if you don’t want a chart title to be displayed.
