Dashboard Overview

A VividCharts dashboard is viewed as a single, living view into your ServiceNow data with a defined and narrow purpose. A VividCharts dashboard contains charts and filters. The charts are the components that will make up what is displayed on the actual dashboard. The filters add the ability to manipulate the charts of the dashboard based on the conditions built into them.

Once a VividCharts dashboard is built and configured, you’ll need to add the components to either a layout using either a Slate or a Service Portal page. Once your dashboard is on a layout, you can then share that dashboard with the intended audience to allow them to access the data insights you’ve created for them.
